help me guys

ok still working on getting the funds for the TII motor swap

still plan on using the N/A tranny for the time being
have found out where I can get most the part

the list I have for parts I need include

the S4 13bt
wiring harness
AFM
piping to convert TMIC to FMIC
throttle cable
intake ducting
dp/mp
and that is all I can think of off the top of my head

if there is anything else you can think of let me know

what else do I need to be ready for though when switching to a turbo motor

any difference as far as maint goes?
what about the oil useage?

any help on taking care of a turbo car would be helpfull

turbo II boost sensor and fuel pump. vac line between engine and brake booster. (it has something in that so the brakes don't see boost)

Check ou the wiring harness. When we did the swap on my car the plug that goes to the back of the alternator was on opposite harnesses between the NA and TII. Basically, I used the tii harness on the engine side and the NA accessory harness on the driver's side. That way, there was no plug for the back of the alternator, so I had to rig it.

Things also went funny with the wiring to my temp guage, so I had to directly run a lead to the right post on the back of the cluster. I preferred the na cluster and an autometer boost to the useless mazda boost guage.

Its not to short, and it totally depends on the harnesses. In my cas I used an 87 TII and an 88 Vert. The lead to the back of the alternator (the regulator and warning part of the alt) was on opposite harnesses on the two cars. I used the combination where I ended up with no plug. Basically, I didn't care about the warning light, but you need a hot wire to contact one of the points on that back plug of the alternator for it to work. If you are doing the conversion, you may have this problem or you may not. Its easy to fix, so pm me if you have any problems, I've probably been through it, lol.
