Help me figure out what my clutch is!
Ok... I've been wondering this for quite some time. I'm trying to gather information on it (webpage or SOMETHING) anyway, here are the distinguishing marks.
The Clutch itself looks very simular to the ACT clutch. There is a sticker on it saying "Nippon Clutch Company <symbol> Made in Japan" with a large NNK in the middle of the sticker. Other than that, there are no marks on it whatsoever.
The Pressure Plate was "Made in Korea" and has "Valio" and "PHC" on the side, opposite the flywheel.
Has anyone ever heard of "Nippon Cluch Company" or "Valio"??? Or have any idea what "PHC" means???
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

K.. think the large NNK is actually NKK.
Nippon clutch company website is:
http://www.nkk-clutch.co.jp/english/index.html
Valio is actually Valeo and you can find their website at:
http://www.valeo.com/
or
http://www.phcvaleo.co.za/
That's all I gathered for ya.

Now, can anyone tell me about the PP 3 down, 2nd from the left; featured here.
Nippon Cluch Company; Pressure Plates
Too bad I know NOTHING about the build quality, or strength of either of these peices. All I know now is that Nippon makes rice-clutches (completely covered in what I can only assume is chrome) and that Valeo make things, mostly for South Africa.
I guess I should look into buying an ACT soon.
