I am looking into rx7's and found an 1986 white 7, with the "sport" package. The new motor has 56k miles and the motor is in sound condition...
paint is in good condition,
two minor dents,
ac isnt working (says it needs to be recharged), passenger side window button doesnt work but the window can be operated by the driver side),
the tranny seems good,
radio not working,
needs new suspension on the rear end
and the sunroof needs a little "help" to open

His price is 1400 obo, what would YOU offer? Thanks a bunch guys!

as long as it runs..then its less work for yah...and plus its getting harder and harder to find the car itself over time..so take it while u got the chance....

If its worth it to you then pay it. I payed 2k for my 87 sport that has minor damage and the radio and a/c didn't work.

I think blue book value would be a bit like 1800 if it was in good condition so 1400 seems ok.

So can a gxl model have the tiny spoiler on the back?

 

some gxl's have the little spoiler. My 87 gxl doesnt. To give you an idea, I paid 1000 for my gxl, no ac, interior kinda bad (tears in the leather seats and some plastic broken on the console). Has 106k miles on the motor, but runs strong. Body not in the best condition, but thats why i talked them down 300bucks.

not that i know of...i havent actually tested it but it had rained about 4 hrs. before i saw the car and the interior was dry...so about 1250 is a good offer? thanks a ton
