In mine all the plugs seemed to be keyed to only fit in there spots, so try just fitting them in, assuming the stereo came from a 7

it's def a 10ae stereo, hence the big AE on the lower right of it

however, i'm still at a loss, i have (2) 4 pin connectors from the dash harness for the front and rear speakers, 1 for each and only (1) 4 pin connector on the stereo

can anyone that has a 10th ae original stereo help me out here?

Do you have the headrest speakers?
I remember something about the blue connector being connected to something sort of on the bottom the deck. Not sure tho
I had a little box that plugged into the blue then into one of the round connectors on the back

There are a few wires taped up on the back of the dash, I'm sure those are the plugs you are looking for it's above the radio, not sure if you can pull them down with the dash still in the car either.

Could it be possible that your 10AE came equipped from the factory without the Pioneer AE CD/tapedeck combo?

I still have the original stereo in my 10AE and it is tapedeck only with an equilizer on the bottom

thanks !

tt7hvn : like R.E.wing_FC3s said maybe it would be better if you had that specific year radio on the car, only if you trying to have a radio in the 7.

but nothing is impossible good luck with the radio.

I know this is an old post, but did you ever get that radio installed? I got the same radio on your picture, from a junk yard for $20. I have looked at that diagram dozens of times but I cannot figure out how to wire this thing. The previous owner took all the harness plugs out, so all I have is the bare wires.

If someone has a picture of one of this radios installed, I would appreciated. I did hook up the "lighting" wire and the radio lighted up, but no display yet.
