Help me budget this out please.

I need the following done with around $1,000. Yes I've searched, I just need a few suggestions and pointers to squez that extra nickles worth out of it.

1988 GXL N/A
What needs replaced/broken.

Wiper-Switch
Hatch (with wiper) (rusted edges)
Hatch dampers (they don't lift the hatch but will hold it)
Windshield (cracked)
Dampers (rear are blown and leaking, I'm sure the front are just as bad)
Exhaust...rotted, need down-pipe, cat, cat-back
Brake pads (there worn)

Alright thats what I need replaced, plenty of what I want, but I'll have to wait.

Current game plan

Suspension
I can go with used JDM Coil-Overs off ebay for around $400, however that is a mixed bag as far as condition.
Ideally I would want Tein Super-Flex, however that is to much money. So I'm thinking of TOKICO Premium Struts (Non-Adjust) which would be ~$400 shipped. Run them with stock springs untill later updated with a spring kit. Adjustibles Tokico would be $700 shipped. I'm checking tommarow if Autozone or Advanced Auto carry these so I can save ~$60 in shipping on either set.

Exhaust.
Corksport cat-back comes to mind, $350 shipped. You can get an Apexi N1 for $490 shipped off ebay, though I worry about authinticity. Stainless-steel is a must seeing I live in the Midwest and Rust is a huge fear. I could also buy a used, beat up set cat back for around $250-300 shipped, but it hardly seems worth it seeing the Corksport is so cheap.
I don't know about down-pipes and cats. My current cat has a hole in it and is annoying. RB gets recommend alot around here.. but $300 for just to pipes?

Windshield, not much I can do, only place that "stocks" them will do the swap for $280

Suggestions on brake pads... cheaper the better, car is GXL.

Thanks, I'm kinda just thinking out loud.
