help me

hey i was wondering what is the perfect rpm to drop the clutch at for a 1987 n/a for a race??

I used to launch a little over 2k to avoid rpm drop. Sacrifice a little wheel spin for the instant power. Practice, but take it easy on your baby!

Depends on how you are racing. If you are stock, you'll do best by slipping the clutch. These cars really have very little between wheel spin and bogging.

I launch at 4 but I never side step the clutch "don’t like braking things" and I play with the clutch to keep traction as the wheels brake loose. But allot of magazines time slips shows best results at 7k. As stated this totally depends on mods our skillz and what type of racing.

I use a 2-step, so I guess thats why my launches are so consistent.

well the only mods i have are a intake manifold porting and tII L.S.D
