I'm not sure, but I have two loose wires that are hanging down around the back underneath the hood, I saw them when I was cleaning the boot for my rack and pinion steering. One of them is red, the other is yellow with a red stripe down the middle. Neither of these are connected to anything... can someone help me? Maybe these are why my oil/temp gauges aren't working>?

Yellow/red just happens to be the color of your oil pressure gauge system. If your gauge works, then it's probably the wire that is supposed to go to the capacitor (bolted to the clutch slave cyl)...

The red (sure it's not red/white?) might be for your oil thermo switch on the oil pan, most of which have been removed due to the lack of need for the sub-zero start system...

Edit- make that black/red, not red/white...

Edit #2- red/white is for your oil level sensor, which needs to be hooked up...
