help!! injector question

help!! injector question

if i have the injectors off with the clips on and turn the key on its soppose to make a click noise, it doesnt....but when i test the injectors on the battery they click really loud. the clips to the injectors do have power... maybe bad ground?
or not enogh voltage or what??anybody know where the ground is located? any imput would be appriciated thanks.

I don't think it will click if you put it on the on posistion, engine needs to be running or cranking for injectors to get a pluse signal.

nope, the ECU is not pulsing the ground, they will only "click" when the CAS is spinning, ie. cranking or running.

Remove the cas and leave its electrical plug on. Turn the key to ON. Then spin the cas's gear. The injectors WILL click as the cas is turned and the sparkplugs will FIRE as you spin the cas. This is a good/simple test to see if the ECU is outputing to the injectors AND testing the ignition/coil circuit to see if the plugs will fire.

i also need help i have a 1987 rx-7 with a 1986 motor and i cannot get gas to the engine i don't know whats up. i messed up and got the injectors from the 87 & 86 mixed up and now you half to feed it gas or it will go dead. none of the fuel lines are bent the fuel filter is fine it's just not getting any gas.......please help
