help hooking up HKS wastegate
When going from a hybrid turbo to a full TO4B 60-1, I also aquired an HKS wastegate. My problem is that the wastegate no longer opens. Does someone have a diagram of how they hooked up theirs or a picture? I am referring to the vacuum lines. I am also running a Greddy Profec B (not spec II).
Currently I have a nipple on the front of the compressor housing feeding both the boost controller's 'in' port and the side nipple of the wastegate. The 'out' port of the boost controller goes to the nipple on the end of the wastegate. Is this correct? Why is the wastegate not opening?
thanks,
Kris

I had considered doing that, but I do not want to be making any boost right now. It was an accident that I found out the wastegate wasn't opening in the first place. I am in the process of tuning with my LM-1, but I am not finished with the off boost loads. I had hoped to find out what was hooked up incorrectly before I moved onto tuning for boost and really need the wastegate.
The wastegate has a 10 pound spring in it.
