Help help help i think shes done
hey guys i had a heater hose blow and car ran low on coolant. i replaced the hose and now i have coolant coming from the intake. so here is the question whats wrong (coolant seal?) and is it time for a rebuild
When the driverside heat hose blows, it's pretty much instant engine death. I've had this happen, and it cracked the water jacket in the rear of the engine and blew out a coolant seal. Before opening the engine and inspecting the damage, the fact that the car would overheat and boil the coolant within 5 minutes was a dead giveaway.
