Help, I don't know what is going on. The last time I changed my oil (I had a mechanic change it), he said that I had gas mixed in with my oil. I thought he was crazy as I didn't see how that was possible.
The other day, I was driving to work, and my oil pressure suddenly droped. I freaked out and pulled off the highway. I checked to make sure my oil was alright. It was about a third of a quart low--nothing major. I addred a little oil and started up again. The pressure went up for a little, and then dropped back down. I noticed my hands smelled like gasoline
On the ride home, my pressure fell below 30psi. The performance doesn't seem to have slipped--I still have my 300hp at the wheels, or so I assume.
Has anyone run into this problem before? If so or if you have any ideas, please help!

as for gas in the oil,it happens, any time you flood,or if your engine has low compression, everytime i change my oil it smells like a gas factory.i wouldnt be to worried, mine has been running like this for quite some time. my pressure sending unit does the same thing,it always reads around 30-45 psi,and the sending unit is bad

So you are saying that is is normal to have a highly flameable liquid used to cool a red-hot engine and turbo?
My car used to be an N/A and I never noticed it then. Is this something that happens to cars that are turbo charged or modified? It is kind of scary to be driving aroud a grenade.
