Help from the experts needed
Hello guys, this is my problem. I bought a short block that I was told it came out of an '88 turbo. I have no idea as of how to tell if it is, also it came with the rear counter weight for an automatic tranny, no flex disk. I will like to install a flywheel, which I have already; this flywheel is the N250, my question is, which front counterweight do I need to match for this engine, that is if it is possible to fit such to the engine and maintain the proper balance of the rotational mass.

pictures of the engine would help identify it.
there is no N250 flywheel, i assume you mean N350 which is a non turbo '89-91 flywheel and won't work for a turbo transmission/clutch and is also for the later model engine balancing, not the early '86-88 engines.

Get an aftermarket light flywheel and bolt it to the counterweight and it will save you the hassle of pulling the counterweight off to put on a 28 pound rolling mass of Steel!!!
