Help, ECU wiring connector question from a FB guy

Hello,

I am having a HELL of a time trying to find the #1, Largest connector, that plugs into the ecu. Its suppose to power the coil's and the CAS, 5th gear, neutral, ect...

I am putting an S4 13B into my FB and have a harness that came with my engine, but is missing this 3rd plug/harness, so I bought an entirely different harness and I cant find it there either. This is Pissing me off...

can I get some pics of this, if you have them...or point me in the right direction. If you have a harness for sale that's complete, including this mysterious #1 plug let me know

The "engine harness" you have is really called an "emissions harness" in the FSM. That includes a lot of the fuel injection stuff and many of the engine sensors. It has two of the three plugs that go into the ECU. The third connector comes from the "Front" harness. The front harness goes through much of the car. In addition to dash connections, it connects to the "Engine" harness, which has the coilpacks and the crank angle sensor. I would get an "Engine" and "front" harness from a local parts car and make it work. There are some differences between turbo and nonturbo harnesses such as the alternator plug's harness location. The front harness is pretty big.

Even after you buy a series FOUR Front harness, you will still have a slight problem. The CAS wires are a part of the ENGINE harness and connect to the Front harness. See attached jpg.

Also the alternator wires run in the Engine harness on a series FOUR Turbo car.

Some of this matters not to you. Some does/will matter to you. Just a heads up.
