HELP!!! Door wont open!

so i was washing my car then decided to clean the interior. i finally finished and i was ready to leave i closed the passenger side door and i forgot to put something in and i go back to try to open it and it doesnt. is there some way to open it?

Are you saying it won't open from the outside NOR the inside????????? That's not good at all. That would be more than a outer door handle being broken.

If all else fails, just remove the door panel from the inside. It will be tricky, but it can be done. From there you'll have a better idea of what is going wrong.

thanks. it wont open from the outide and inside. luckily i had taked out most of the scews out and replace only a few.

when i lift the handle to open it it feels loose.

ill try to figure it out...

The only thing the handles are doing, are providing a lever to pull a metal rod, which opens the latch. Try to open up the door panel as much as you can and pull on the rod. If the door doesn't open, the latch might be bent or stuck.

***update!***

found out what the problem was. there is a spring that connects two moving parts of the mechanism. turns out that one of the hooks on the spring broke. i figured it out after about 15mins. it took long because it was in a very tight spot...

i used to same spring lol its ok for now still i pull a few from the junk yards.
