Help on Converting

I currently have a 1988 Rx-7 automatic with a 13B non-turbo. I want to convert it to a manual transmission along with a twin turbo 13B could someone give me some info on either of these conversions and the difficulty of them?

since your a n00b ill tell you before the people come and flame you. use the search button.

but anyways to help you out.
i suggest you just swap in a turbo II engine instead of the 13b-rew.
and for the automatic to manual swap if you want to go turbo you have to swap out your rear end also.

for the automatic to manual swap (if your going turbo ) you need:

TII tranny
TII flywheel
TII clutch
pilot bearing
new throw out bearing
TII slave cylinder-make sure its the turbo one
master cylinder
rubber and hardlines
pedals
shifter and shift boot
TII rear end-4.10
TII drive shaft
TII halfshaft
TII starter

i think thats it. i got all mine for under 500 dollars.

Start by searching one topic at a time. You should be able to find write-up's on both these subjects with detailed info for what you need. Now prepare yourself for some flaming and bitching cuz you didn't search but you've only got 1 post so maybe they'll take it easy on you. Good luck and welcome to the club.
