Angry Help! Car just died on me and is currently on the side of the road!

Hey everyone, in a little bit of a bind here... my 91' vert had been running well all day today but an hour ago it died while I was making a turn out of a neighborhood. It died halfway through the turn. Figuring it just stalled out, I started it up again and drove it for a little while (half a mile maybe), until I had to make another turn. It died again when I came to a stop. Again, I started it up again, made the turn, and it dies a third time. This time, for good.

After the third time, I could not restart my car. I turn the ignition, the engine catches and hits 1000 RPMS then promptly dies. If i hold the accelerator down after the engine catches, it stays alive. But once I let off it, the RPMs drop like a rock until it shuts off. It's as if there is no idle. We've checked under the hood and nothing stuck out. There wasn't smoke, there's sufficient oil, temperature was fine, the valves and control switches were all connected properly as far as we could tell. Finally, we gave up and pushed it to side of the road where, thankfully, our township allows us to park. Any ideas?

wow sounds pertty bad well my guess would be first electrical problems because its only when u turn. First did u only turn to the left or right or is it both? Next is check ur wires all they way around ur motor and make sure everything is connected and nothing is loose.

Sounds sort of like a fuel issue.. Possible dirty fuel sock/low fuel?

Then how come there are cap and lower case versions of the same letters in there?

And i had the same problem and result of my intake not being tight enough to the throttle body

Check to see if all vacuum hoses are in tact and not busted.

Because the forum takes posts that are all caps and makes the first letter of each word caps and the rest lower case.

I've got plenty of gas... what other fuel-related issues could cause this?

Nevermind, one of the screws connecting the air intake to the throttle body was loose and that was the problem! thank you all!
