help car doesn't start

couple weeks ago I removed most of the ac and heater elements. after I did that I went to start the car. it doesn't start. the car will turno over and starts up but will then immediatley die. it doesn;t even give me the chance to rev before it dies. I thought the battery was dead so I took the battery out of my daily driver hond civic but still no start. what could be wrong? thanks in advance.

The most common cause of the start & die deal is a bad AFM connection, or a big vac leak.
