Help! Boost and fuel problems

so i have a gxl with a jdm swapped motor and the wastegate arm is twisted so im boosting up to like 15 psi so i figured a boost controller would help tone it down. so i got a greddy profec b spec ii and had a rotary shop put it in and even when i try messing with the setting it doesnt make a difference and im not really sure what the deal is. the valve control unit has two nipples on it and one goes to the turbo or wastegate right on the front i cant really see it all that well and the other one is blocked off right on the control unit. shouldnt that go to something?

Problem 2:

my car get terrible gas milage im guessing like maybe 10mpg idk but when i mash the gas sometimes not even high rpm i can smell gas as if im at the gas station filling up.

please help

also rough diagram of boost controller setup

As has been said many times, boost controllers CANNOT lower boost. If your wastgate arm is messed up, you need to fix it. Remove the turbo and fix it on a bench if necessary.

yes you should be able to achieve a stable boost pattern running no boost controller (straight wastegate pressure to the actuator or EBC turn off). once that has been achieved you can set up the EBC.

Also there shouldn't be anything blocked off on the Profec B. There should be one hose running from the compressor housing of the turbo to the "NO" port on the GReddy unit. Then from the wastegate actuator to the "COM" port of the GReddy unit. The "NC" port should be open with no plug. Also you need to be able to keep your boost under control with just your wastegate before you get a boost controller to turn up the boost.
