Angry help black wire with yellow strip(gauge cluster)

so my gauges(volt,fuel,and oil press.) wont turn off.this is causing my battery to die. i pulled the cluster out and found a black wire witha yellow strip that is pulling 12.46v.this wire plugs into a the back of the cluster.i can't find any wire diagrams on this. anyone know what or where that wire goes to? or whats a common problem for this?thanks

im thinking it has something to do with the ignition switch but can't find any spec on that either...please help before i have to buy another battery.

alright found some burnt wire (like everyone else) going to the fuse box so go to replace those and see what happens

It should go to the 7.5 amp Meter fuse. Try pulling the 2 wire plug off of the Main relay and see if the Black/White wire has battery voltage with no key in the ignition. It should not. Have you worked on your car at all before this issue occured or did it happen out of the blue? Either you have voltage backfeeding onto the B/Y wire or the ignition switch is acting up or you have a B/Y wire coming in contact w/a constant voltage live wire that is passing the voltage onto B/Y.

i think what happened was i had a short in my right front headlight.didn't know it at the time so left it plugged up. thats when it burnt the harness, going to the fuse box.i found one wire going to the headlight switch that was burnt at the connector.there is another wire going to the 7.5 meter fuse but cant tell what color.its totally fucked.and the shitty thing is that wiring /electric issuses give me hell. and it being right behide the fuse box, im not sure if i can fix it.i took the dash out and there is a little more room to work...im just not that good.we'll see
