Help....all the sudden...rough idle no power

Hey guys, Here's my situation. Started the car, engine running ok and then all the sudden idle becomes really rough and no power. There is no smoke and no engine lights on. Its almost like its running on only 1 rotor. Any thoughts? If it was a rotor seal wouldn't the exhaust smoke?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for a broken Apex seal and do a compression test to start?

Check for vaccum leaks, and make sure that your Airflow sensor is still hooked up and you don't have a bunch of air leaking in behind it from somewhere.

do a search on how to perform a compression test, then go from there...

Yes, do a compression test. I have seen many blown engines that do not smoke.

If the compression is good, then it could be a faulty injector or bad spark plugs/wires. The key is to rule out the compression as the issue before throwing money at the fuel and ingnition system.

Thanks for everyones help. OK...I did a compression test but need help. I did the compression test on the first rotor and that was fine. Three nice bounces. When I tried to do the second rotor I could barely get the needle to move. The o-ring on the compression meter was a bit torn up but I would think that I should of gotten something. I did try a few times taking it out and tightening it back up but again the needle barely moved. When it did move the tiny amount though it did seem like I was only getting 2 bounces. So, should I get new o-rings and try again or is it possible to get no reading?

Yea, that engine is toast.

If your hard up for cash, you could check in the parts for sale section for a running engine and do the swap yourself.
