Its really not that hard to be honest. I just fixed my timing so i can probably answer some questions if you have any.

Is your car starting and running at all right now?

yeah its starting and runs then starts reving up to about 3000 rpms then shuts off

I had the same problem. Mine was caused by a vacuum leak in the emissions control system. I removed all of mine, but if you dont want to do that i would just check the entire emissions system for leaks and also the intake gaskets could also be bad if you took of upper or lower intakes. Have you tested your AFM at all?
