i have an 88non turbo. Heat & A/C Blower fan only works on hi... tried different logicoms and relays!!! Anything else i can look for??? Help

 

any chance it could be the fan itself?

I know you said you changed logicons but my 88 vert had the same thing exact when I got it only high fan, I tried changing logicons to no avail but I didnt change the little black box with the circuit board that sits in back of logicon , when I finally did i swapped boards with another and bam the speed control came back...are you sure you tried changing the board in this? and yes it could also be blower thermosistor but out of 6 cars I have worked on with heater issues it so far has always been one of the logicon or related things...

 

Is the thermosister mounted to the blower case?

 

Where is the blower thermostat? What does it look like? How many wires?

its not the fan, fan works, hooked to battery, i have a thick red wire going to the relays around the fan with a ground sense now, I think it is supposed to have a positive... Does anyone know where this wire comes from that feeds the heeter fan and is there a fusible link under the hood or something???
