HELP! 87 Mazda rx7 gxl Belt tensioner will not move!

So i have recently needed to replace the alternator belt on my 87 rx7 gxl. the problem is i need to remove the 3 others in order to get to it. the problem is there are two tensioner's that i need to move to take them off, and they will not budge. i have removed the vertical bolts and have tried to use a mallet to lower it with no luck whatsoever. i have tried anything from that to wd40 the living heck out of it and it will not move. is there something i am forgetting? how do i get it unstuck? This is a great car to drive and it saddens me that it is stuck in the garage.

Do you mean that the big nut on the center of the pulley won't give an inch, or that even with loosening it the adjuster wont budge?

Like insightful said, pictures would be good,
