help

hi, ive searched and asked but have never got any kind of answer that has actually helped me. i need to find an engine dealer where i can find a 13bt engine and tranny for my 1987 n.a. i need to find one so i can finnally get my car going. i would like to find something usdm and repuable. i am trynig to find a motor asap and i dont need the uasual hasle of being told to sell mine and buy a turboII. im going with the swap and already have alot of the turbo parts like the differntial, brakes and hubs. please give me some information that will actually help me bacuse i am quite anxious to get my car going.thanks

There are no engine "dealers" that will get you a reliable USDM engine... You either get a Jspec, or you buy from an individual... Best bet would be to get a low mileage Jspec and rebuild it...

Try HERE...

I've never had any personal experiences with them, but their prices are pretty reasonable...

thanks for the link but my main question with jdm is for a rebuild how hard would it be to get parts and what not and what challenges would i have putting it in my 87 n.a. thanks

JDM engines are essentially the same as USDM engines, with minor differences in emissions and whatnot... Most parts are interchangable and all rebuild kits are the same...

thanks for clearing that up for me becuase i was always told you would have to import parts and what not. thanks for the help im probally will go this route now
