First off, what color is the smoke? If its white and kinda sweet smelling, its bad coolant seals, if its darker its oil. As for new engines, your best bet for a good engine is prob getting it rebuilt at www.rotaryresurrection.com

Well, it sounds like your coolant seals and oil seals are bad. Basically the only way to fix those is a rebuild. The link I posted has about the cheapest rebuilds out there, and he does a good job.
