Help!

I am a new kid to the whole RX-7 deal. I mean, I know about them vaguely, but not as much as I do about Hondas, Nissans, Subarus, and Toyotas.

I was looking around for cars to buy, and I happened to run across a 1987 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo II. It wasn't for sale, but I changed the owner's mind about it. The intake manifold is...fucked. It is also leaking anti-freeze. I took apart the turbo and all the such parts to see what exactly was wrong, and that's all I can see. I went to my friend who's really into these things and he said it isn't that hard to fix it. Basically, I wanna know if you agree with what he said. The owner of it, and my friend who's a mechanic both said it was pulling strong before, and it still would if I didn't decapitate it to see what exactly was wrong with it (they were both too lazy to check it out, the guy just stopped driving it once he noticed the issue).

I also would like to know any common issues with these wonderful RX-7's, and any basic must-do modifications.

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

P.S. Sorry if I have fucked up errors in this post...dyslexia is kickin my butt today.

Leaking coolant. Great. Any other clues? Worst case is it lost a coolant seal, overheated the **** out of the motor and warped the end/intermidiate plates. That kind of coolant leak involves a lot of labor and more than a little bit of money. Hopefully it's just a hose, but that's doubtful. I'll bet the owner is witholding info or he may just be too dumb to know how bad he screwed up the car.

I'm giving you all I have. If I find a picture of a block with the turbo and such removed, i'll highlight the area where it's leaking from for you.

I'm sorry that i'm acting like a normal "n00b" but i'm operating on very very little sleep and 76 Camaros w/ rednecks are made me bleed a little but more than what I think is a safe amount.

Step 1 - Lay off Crack.
Step 2 - Get sleep (sounds like you need lots of it).
Step 3 - Go check out the car again and take pictures of it.
Step 4 - Post back here, with pictures and complete thoughts/sentances
