Help!!

Hey All

I am kinda new to the RX-7 as I just purchased a 1988 GXL. I noticed my exhast is rotted completely and i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on a brand or type of exhaust to look into for replacement. I don't want to sound like a rice rocket but i still want a powerful roar and of course a nice HP boost.
Any suggestions?

Feel Free to email me @ douglas_hare@yahoo.com as i have no idea where this is going to post!!

depends on how handy you are with a welder..

im sure most people here would reccomend racing beat as a general rule.

i got a custom single done with a hidden magnaflow can.. sounds pretty throaty.

I have custom bent 2-1/2inch with magnaflow mufflers and stainless 3-inch tips, it looks very nice, far from ricey. The reason I chose magnaflow is because they are known for being a bit more quiet... lets be honest, our cars sound like chainsaws. I'm very happy with my setup

same as any straight thru muffler.
i went with magnaflow because they have good durable HEAT RESISTANT packing, theyre a large can muffler, oldschool style.. and straight through design.
excellent trade off between sound and power.

i like the sound. it sounds pretty deep. its not going to sound like an f1 car but it sure as hell doesnt sound like a honda.
