Did you have any lights/etc, when you went to jumpstart? Or was the car COMPLETELY dead?

well if it just dragged your back tires it could mean its locked up. To make sure this is what it is for sure if you put your car in gear and rock it back and forth while the hood is open you will see no belts move however if the belts move you are ok there. Are you sure you push starting it correctly?

Okay, so you cannot get the motor to turn at all, eh?

Not with rocking the car, using a socket to turn?

Do a search for "carbon lock".. But lets hope not. Hopefully you can spin the motor backwards and unlock it.
