I just got a 88 T2 AE, and I was checking things under the hood an notice that the oxygen sensor wire was cut. The sensor and its wire is there, but the part that goes to the wire harness is cut. Where does that wire go to? Is the wire on the left side or right side of the engine compartment and what color is the wire?

The Mazda service manual says it’s a single gray wire (I just went and looked at mine and it almost looks black) the wire connects to the passenger side wire harness behind the intake or around that area. Does your wire from the o2 sensor have the wire connector on it? Or was it cut before the connector? The connector should be green/white (white connector plugs into green) green connector goes to the O2 sensor and the white connector goes to the harness.

It was cut off with the connector. This makees it really hard to find the darn thing.
