Help with 1988 TII

Ok, I found a 1988 TII and the dude wants $500 for it but they're some problems. It need a slav cylinder and for along with a clutch and pressure plate, the motor has been pulled because the apex seals were blown but the housing is good so all it needs is new apex seals. How much are apex seals for a 88 TII because I have been unable to find any prices? Also he cut the wiring harness when he removed the motor so how much would another one be? I have never rebuilt a rotary engine before but I have rebuilt many piston engines so I think I could do it but could ya'll give me a guide or something or is it layed out pretty well in the repair manual because the dude has one that would come with the car. Any help would be much appreciated because I have been looking for a TII for a long time and now that I've finally found one I want to get it. Thanks guys.

I belive your going to need a full rebuild not just apex seals. there is lot of imformation on here about pros and cons of different seals. atkins rotary is a good place to find rebuild parts www.atkinsrotary.com .

If your lazy you can just buy a jdm engine for around 1500 and have it running in no time.

yes, and there is a lot more than just new apex seals for a rebuild. be prepared to spend $2k to get the car running. unless you do it yourself, probly cost you closer to $1k but a lot more risk in reliablility

I priced a master rebuild kit on atkins for $900, is that all I would need to completely rebuild the engine and get it in running condition?
