Help: 13b-re intake manifold on s5 13b-t

so i bought a 13b-re UIM and LIM with the 20b throttlebody and TPS sensor and the 13b-re elbow, my question is the fitment on my s5 TII block, i tried making it line up last nite but didnt seem to hold unless i put in the bottom 2 nuts, i tried using the s5 TII LIM and the 13b-re UIM but that was even worse, does nayone have any idea on how to get these things toline up or would i have to send them out and get port matched, my view on it was it would at least bolt right up thanks

You have to port match them.

Did you notice there is a major runner size difference between the manifolds and you can't just use an adapter.

if it was possible you'd see people using the RE intakes instead of the REW

if you want to use the RE manifold you are gonna need RE PLATES or FDs.

there is an adapter for a s5 t2 lower intake mani to an FD upper intake mani you might be able to get away with it if the bolt pattern of the RE upper is the same as the FD upper intake manifold..but i could be wrong. also if you did that then you would not be able to use the RE lower intake manifold..

Hah, and I thought I was nuts for putting REW intakes on my 6port, at least the 6ports have a larger secondary/aux port area so its way easier to adapt to.

There is a huge primary runner size difference between the manifolds and I'm sure using the RE UIM with s5 LIM would lose power rather than make it.
