Heater trouble

Hey, Alright check this out. Im buying this 88 rx7 gxl, only thing is the heater core is bad and leaks. Is there a quick fix, such as cutting the hoses going to and from the heater core and splicing them together under the hood so it won't leak massivelly on the way home.

Sure...Even better if ya got like a 9-12" metal tube (I'm guessing at the length from memory- might be shorter) that you could clamp the ends of the hoses on after you get 'em off the core inlets...

How would I get the hoses off the inlets? I was under the impression the core can't be reached from under the hood, only pulling the dash is the only way to get it. So I figured splicing is the only way to go, as a quick fix.

Or you could simply plug it up at the radiator & the block
