Heater Not Like It Used To Be

Heater Not Like It Used To Be
My Heater was a trademark to my car before. Now the heat out put Is way less than half.
I have a mint logicon Installed (of a 91 TII, which has been resoldered for that matter). I verified the rod, to the back of the Logicon moves when I switch from A/C to Heater. I have air blowing at different directions when I tested the Logicon. I flush the Coolant once a year. So I like to think that the Heater Core Isn't clogged.
What else can It possibly be and how can I regain my furnace?

This is on the drivers side.
When you move the hot/cold lever on the logicon, the air/mix should move top to bottom.
If it is not moving, then either the logicon is bad, the airmix motor is bad or the plug between them is disconnected.
To test the air mix motor itself, without a Logicon tester, Unplug the long cable coming out of the logicon (I usually pull the gauge cluster to get to the plug easier) jumper the car side (not the logicon side) Yellow wire to 12 volts and the green/white to ground. The motor should move all the way to hot. reversing the two and the air/mix motor should move all the way to the cold position.
If it not moving, then the air/mix motor is bad.
If it is moving but the logicon does not move it (and everything else workls as you described) then the logicon is bad.

BTW if you need to replace the air mix motor, mazdaformace had the best price on them last I checked.
