Heater Hoses

So Im going to replacing the heater hose that goes from the engine into the heater core (drivers Side), the one that usually fails.

Has anyone used the cut to fit ones from kragen before? If they're okay to use Im probally gonna ge it to save some cash. If not I'll shell out the 40 some odd dollars for the one from mazdatrix.

So???

That hose has some very tight bends. Unless you use expensive hose that doesn't kink flat when you bend it, I'd stick to the pre-formed OEM hoses.

Good to know this after it left me stranded on a freeway on a friday afternoon.

My emergency bypass acctually fits okay with minimal kinkage at the heater port. Luckily the parts guy at the local mazda place discounts list price, so he's selling me the hose for $33.
