Heater help

ok i posted before but didnt get much help so im going to see if i can get more help again.

ok my heater stoped working over night, gota new blower in there. i took a multimeter and tested the cables you splice the new blower/fan cables too and they are getttin power. now they are only getting power when the blwer/fan is not hooked up. i can turn the car adjust the speed of the blwer/ fan unit and it reads from 0-30 depending on if on low or high. but as soon as i hook the blower/fan uint up to the cables there is not power. Any know why this could be. i dont think its the logicon and icemark agrees cause you can hear clicking when using the adjuster bar to adjust teh speed you can hear it click down by the blwoer unit. he told to get a new relay for the blower but i dont know where that is, also got a thermal fuse but dont know where that is neither down there. but i would think if either of them where now working , the ni wouldnt get a reading on the multimeter. tried contacting icemark but no response so far so hopefully he will read this or someone else who know about electronics can help out.

it seem to loose power as soon as i hook up the new blower/fan unit. i tested the blower by hooking it up the battery and it work fine.

could they have give n me the wrong blower ? would that matter?
some please help out cause its getting really cold.
thanks again.

Dead lines or blown fuse. The thing isn't better power, so it has to be stopping from somewhere.

worked on it some more last night. now i hooked up a volt meter and seems when i have the slider bar set at below max it reading bad for low voltage but ones i get to max and keep it ther and hook up the blower/fan it works. but as soon as i move the slider it turns of. also ones i turn the car of and put elelctrical tape on there so the bare wires are not showing and start the car there is no power again. would this be the relay down there or other problem?

would this be the grounds ? i know we are soppose to replace our grounds anyways but is that the problem? also have the problem where the car is stuck in overdrive and its not the botton thats broke cause its getting power. just changed the starter and the overddrive is alwasy on now.

could this alll be related to bad grounds?

checked fuse, no fuses blown. does any one have a pic of where the relay is down by the blower and perhaps a pic of where the thermal fuse is too? figured i can replace that at the same time .

anyone ? if no picutre perhaps a description of where they are located down there.

thanks
