Unhappy Heater Doesn't Work!

Ok well, one night my heater was working super great, had it in while i was driving/racing and so on. The next morning I go out and start my car, its only blowing cold air. Its soo cold in Michigan that i cannot live without my heat working. I dont know what the problem is. I did take off my A/C belt but i took that off like a week ago and it was still blowing hot air, but now it nots working. The control seems to be wokring but still no cold air, but not certain the the a/c control console, and could it be because i was punching it alot that night i drove with heater on? any help would be great! oh and its a 86' N/A base model thank you everyone! its getting really cold out and im running out of options

the next motor? change your motors every day? "The control seems to be wokring but still no cold air" are you after cold are or hot air? if you want hot air let the car warm up to running temp and it should get hot.

Its not that cold in Michigan yet I live in Kalamazoo and don't use my heat that much! Just wait till winter then u will need it, unless u don't drive it in the winter.

Anyway's it could be your air mix motor. I'm not positive were it is located but is either under the dash an drivers or passengers side. Let me Know if you need any help as i live in Kalamazoo, maybe our 2 brains together could figure it out.

It also could be ur heater logicon which is the unit that control your heat with u know the one that has all the climate control button it above ur stereo. Mine is also bad but mine is broke differently, b cuz it randomly shuts off which means that the fan blower switch (on the bottom right of control) is bad.

JUst let me know if you need any help, I have classes at Kalamazoo Valley College and wouldn't be to far from there. I'm out at Valley every weekday so let me know if ur interested. I would not mind seeing ur car either especially if you have any mods.

thank your for the concern, my car is stock and quite the rust bucket, i have class at 6:14am and its pretty cold that time, my climate logicon seems to be working fine, just doesnt seem to be blowing hot air. I'm a high school student nothing much to see on my car, i wish it were a TII, but i will try checking out the air/mix motor ur talking about, now i just have to find it
