heater core

so i have to change my heater core cause one of its hard line connections is split, im guessing i have to take the whole dash out. correct?

no you dont. take the glovebox out, then blower motor, AC box thingey, and heater core. it was designed to be done with the dash in if you remove all of that. if you search some posts it will probably clarify a little better. although it MAY be easier to just take the dash out , this is what i did but i was also changing the carpet/installing haltech etc.

yeah im pretty sure that u have to take the dash out but im not positive...check the FSM

It can be done without taking out the dash. I'm not 100% sure on how to do it, but what the above guy said sounds right.
Also, I have a good heater core for cheap if you need one.
