If it includes vent location, it's most likely the AC Logicon.&nbsp If it's heat isolated, it could be just the air mix motor.&nbsp Resoldering of the AC Logicon is pretty straight-forward, except there are a LOT of soldering points inside the unit - concentrate on the main harness plugs and the faceplate IC board.&nbsp Removal of the unit from the dash is a bit complex, especially for the first timer.&nbsp If it's just the air mix motor, it's a remove and replace affair under the dash.

i am not getting anything from the vents at all even if you switch back and fourth to where the heat or air comes from! so like i was thinken its the logicon! if so it is then i thought there was a write up on how to solder it and etc, by the way ow the hell do youget that third plug that goes to the main harness in the car? take out the speedo cluster out? any hints would be apperciated

If you want that cable out, there are two ways to get at the plug.
1) You need to remove the plastic cover on top, center of the dash; remove the single bolts/screw under it - you should be able to remove the metal panel now&nbsp Be warned, the plastic vent pieces are going explode and turn into tiny pieces of plastic when you distrube them.&nbsp Once the metal panel is removed - you'll see the plug in the center, mounted vertically.&nbsp Unplug and pull through...
2) Some say you can actually snake you hands from under the dashboard to remove the plug.&nbsp I have never done this myself.

Otherwise, there's another option - pop the AC logicon open and unplug the wiring harness from the IC board.&nbsp This leaves that harness inside the car, and lets you take the rest of the AC Logicon with you...

Once you get the AC Logicon out, concentrate on the main wiring plugs, where they meet the IC boards.&nbsp Also, redo ALL the solder joints on the face plate IC board.&nbsp This will solve the problem 90% of the time.
