heat troubles

heat troubles
o k so i have an 87 rx7 s4 so my problem is that i cant seem to get the heat to come in the cabin i have the blow going and that work but it seem that the dampers are stuck closed so whats the problem and how do i fix it?

For now, while researching "how to re-solder logicon", reach into behind the dashboard and find the lever that goes from the actuator to the water valve, disconnect it and move the water valve to open to get the coolant to the heater core.
My car is in storage so I can't take some pics. but hopefully someone else can add to this.

Two things can cause the heat/cool from changing/
#1 a bad air mix motor (unfortunately when these go, they usually take out the mosfets in the Logicon at the same time, wasting it).
#2 would be a bad Logicon, that either has burnt mosfets or needs re-soldering in the logicon's control panel.
Test the air mix motor first, because if that is blown, you will need to replace it before you replace the Logicon. If you plug a working Logicon into a blown air mix motor, it will blow the working one as well.
