Are their heat tabs on jspecs? or uspecs for that matter?. if yes, where are they located and how can u tell if its been overheated??

There not on all jspec's. just depends where you got it from,Japan direct where i got mine puts them on there so if you overheat the engine and melt them it voids the warrenty.
They put them differant places, on mine they put one on top of the water pump, one on each rotar housing. just below the leading plugs. there round with some numbers on them. but the little inside circle is what melts.
