heat sensitive

Are the 2nd generation's as heat sensitive as the 3rd. Because the years I understand that once youe reach a certain point of boost on the 3rd's they blow. My friend's been through four engines over the years until he found the right EMS. Got any Ideas?

I guess I see what you mean but the fact that the EMS in my experiences have been tricky to get right obviously but that might just be my fault.
