I personally think it looks better with just one.

Function > Form.

In this case form and function come together. Best of both worlds, however.... I am with Sideways7, it looks much better with only one (the functional one).

they work, but you have to get a cold air box for your filter as well so that you don't suck hot air into the motor, or it will be worthless...

I've never seen one made for the drivers headlight......

There is no directed path to the filter. You have to do so much work its cheaper and better to make a true cool air intake.

On top of that most headlight scoops have a very small area meaning you can't feed the "fresh" air to the filter, given you DO all the EXTENSIVE work for it to WORK, at the rate that the engine would be needing it. I've done the math in the past and its less worth while compared to making your true cool air intake.

Since you are ASKING for our oppinion on the second one i'll gladly give you MINE.

*note to all the little defensive punks around here* If you don't want to hear it just scroll past here because HE is asking for it and I don't need you to come in here and BITCH at ME for offering to HIM something that HE asked for.

My way of thinking is: Do things right. In my oppinion you get more for your money by doing a mandrel piped intake that goes to a location with fresh/cool air. Again the lids do not have enough area to supply the needed air, mostly. Again you need to do a lot of cutting for the thing to work in the first place. You need to make a sealed system. Once the sun goes down your hard earnd money goes down the ******* drain because your lights go up. Even if you have a sleepy eye controller(rice for other reasons...) you will lose the way the air is supposed to flow in a -sealed- system. A true cool air intake will work at all times. A cool air intake will keep cops less likely to notice you, because its not so damn flamboyant! The second one is completly the defenition of rice, I could see if you had a 300ZX and it was a track only car and the headlights were removed to ducting and you had some NACA ducts up there, but you don't! My thinking is represent the real car. If you wish to do it with FAKE and only SEMI-FUNCTIONAL products that is on you but I won't try to make my car out something that it isn't. It's just as bad as putting Z3 fender type vents on your car, and having them be non-functional. Its complete crap and pointless!

Take it from R.W.E. "Imitation is Suicide"

yea me and rx7guy tried to tell him in his last thread about this.....i say it is great for looks, i personally like it but if you want air go with a true intake......as much as our cars rev, there is no way in hell a little 2" slot can pass enough, but if you're about looks and performance i say get both.
