I think I need to replace my headlight switch but I am not sure - S5 Vert

Symptoms - When I rotate the headlight switch - The headlights do not come up or light up. Parking, interior, and rear lights come on.

When I rotate the flip up/down switch - the lights will go up and down.
When I Flip the lever to switch on the brights - the lights will come on (bright) in both the up and down position.

All fuses are good. Headlight relay is good.

Thoughts?

 

Internal relay in the headlight switch has failed. Replace the switch (I do have rebuilt headlight switches available on my webstore - but that stock S5 internal relay is a bitch to find and I do not know of anyone seeling it right now).
