Header for 6 port n/a

I've just finished street porting my 86 6 port n/a motor and I'm ready to put it back together. What I need to know is how long to make the pipes for my header. My intake is going to remain stock for now(aside from matching it to the gaskets, and maybe taking out the throttle plates.)and I want the car to be somewhat streetable. The rest of my exhaust is already 2.5". Also how long should my collector be? I've read some threads on these subjects but I'm just a little overwhelmed with all the different ideas. Any help would be super.
