I just bought another fc and swapped a TII engine in it when i went to drive it at night the head lights popped up but the lights didnt turn on. after a couple of mins they wouldnt even pop up when i turn the switch. Also the lights on the cluster stopped working. All the fuses are good also

The switch was bad installed a new one and it started smoking from the switch so i disconnected it. everything worked til i disconnected it from the smoke any ideas?
