Having trouble starting my car
It's a '91 RX7 that I finished a turbo engine swap into a few months ago.
For the firstg few weeks everything was good. Then I started having trouble getting it started. I think it's when it started getting colder that I started having problems.
It has fuel pressure (and i think it's getting fuel), spark, and of course air. However it still won't start. If I get it started go somewhere and shut it off, as long as I don't let it sit and get cold, it'll restart. However if I let it get cold, I'm back at square one.
However one day I had to jump it at my house because I'd drained the battery trying to start it. And seeing as it seems to not start when cold , I stuck an electric heater under the front of the car. And after sitting for 10 or 15 min it started up. And I tried that another day and it worked then too. That makes absolutely no sense to me.
So please help me figure this oput if you can.
Thanks A lot! Ben
