Wink Having problems starting my FC need help!

im still sort of new at this stuff i wanted to know if anyone would help me out on stuff about my rx-7 fc the thing is it wont start i 've tried to unflood my engine a couple of times i used the three step method but my engine still doesnt start it cranks up and wants to start but it just doesn't can u help me? thanks!

yeah, im new to this stuff too...but i had a similar problem. for me it turned out that i just had bad plugs and wires. you should check all the electrical stuff first, ie. coils, igniters, plugs wires, since they are pretty easy to check. also someone on this forum mentioned keeping the idea of air, fuel, and spark in order to start the engine, its simple and somewhat obvious, but its a good place to start. hope that helps.

Good advice. Your plugs could be wet from gas, too, or just old. Check and see their condiditon.

Ok. Are you having problems starting it AT ALL, or is it after you've driven the car a little bit? I have this problem when I've driven a while and stop. If it doesn't start up after the 1st crank, I'll stop cranking, hold down the accelerator pedal, and then start. That method hasn't failed me yet. You'll let loose a small cloud when you do that but it'll clear up in like 5-10 seconds.
