Getting in the way of intercooler piping? Rip out all emissions, e-fan, relocate battery, remove AC and PS. Still having trouble?

And just think, you're doing it the easy way. By using the TII manifolds, you will have minimal fabrication and fitment issues. Even still, you need to work out:

-oil feed
-oil drain
-coolant feed and drain
-intercooler mounting
-intercooler piping
-fuel pump
-fuel injectors
-fuel control
-BOV mounting

Not quite a beginner project, as I am so often telling nearly EVERYONE who PMs me wanting NA-turbo info.

Bam! Aaron Cake ends all controversy once again.

Do a supercharger swap and you'll have to do all that + mount the damn charger on a fabbed mount, redo the throttle body, figure out how to get another pulley on the front of the engine, make a tensoiner pulley / bracket, and deal with a megasquirt, although you can skip the coolant feed / drain, SC's don't need them.

well... bov mounting isnt too much of a problem aslong as its after the compressor and before the tb. intercooling is relative to what the person wants or can acchieve.
oil drain. there are two ways i think this can be done. tap into the oil line from the block, and drain it into the pan, or bypass the stock oil cooler lines. rerouting it to the turbo before or after the oil cooler whichever you prefer. water is easy. rerout it from the coolent line that goes into the tb into the turbo. piping is cheap and really you can use any type of metal piping. crush bent if your poor. mandrel if you got a lil more money. get some pipe couplers from home depot. go to coustome coach and get a 200 dollar front mount, get a dsm bov, and you good on that part.

fueling is another animal.

what i was thinking about doing on mine is runing an inline fuel pump with an rpm trigger and an electronic boost controler. with better injectors. so that if it reaches a certain psi, it goes into a whole nother type of fueling system while the stock injectors and pump are only for really low boost situations. like idling or highway cruising.
