Having issues......Bosch ev14 injectors in factory rails

Long story short.........

S5 turbo, upgrading secondary injectors to Bosch ev14 750's but using a S4 turbo rail. Reason for the S4 rail is so I can mount sard Fpr to the rail. I bought the injectors from 20B10AE, who has been more then helpful with trying to get these to work, I have what I think are the right top hats (short 11mm) and bottoms.

The issue I'm having is when I install the injectors with the S4 turbo rail, the rail doesn't sit all the way down on the mounting points. It's a good 1/4 to 1/2 inch to high. Even when I put the stock injectors back in the S4, it still sits to high. I can put the injectors in the S5 rail and everything works fine. I thought and was told these rails mount the same, was I lied too?

So really my issue seems to be more rail related then injector, but I am still confused on what step to take next. I really would like to run a Fpr but don't really have the extra funds to buy a aftermarket rail, hence why I am using the S4 rail.

Looking for opinions, any help is greatly appreciated.

I believe that s4 rails on an s5 Manifold would need a couple washers on the mounting area to compensate height.
it is off by roughly 4mm.

The rail is hitting the top hats right? You can space the rail or grind the top hats a slight bit so they will slide further into the rail.

this, the S4 rail doesn't bolt right on to the S5 manifold
