Exclamation having a fuel system prob. please help

ok. im having a problem gettign the 1988 rx7 se that i just bought started. i have fuel, spark, and good compression, but no fuel is getting to the rotors. it like the injectors are just not working, but they tested out alright on the ohm-meter. there is also a slight hissing sound coming from up top when i try to prime the fuel system. anybody maybe have this prob? if you can please give me some pointers. all help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

When you say "I have fuel" how did you tell? First see if you are getting fuel to the injectors themselves.

Hissing is interesting.... smell any gas?
Are you sure you don't have enough fuel and flooded the engine? Removing the spark plugs and seeing fuel on the plugs/ smell gas mean a heavily flooded engine.

The hissing is probably the FPR popping open and passing the return fuel. The thing is, mine would only do that after the pressures were bled down (for maintenance), so I dunno if that it...

So the plugs are bone dry after a start attempt, eh?

How did you test the plugs with the meter? Read out the coils? I know of cases where the coils read fine, yet the injectors are so clogged (rusted) they won't function (been there). Did the car sit for long periods?

yeah, i pulled the plugs out and there dry, i also tested the ohm resistance, and they all read out to about 13.5 which is where they should be... i also tried replacing the ecu, but also to know avail... and yes the car did sit up for a while. thanks for the replies. anyone have any idea on theis one?
